We are turning our sights on October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Wildfire way to do Pintober is to shine a spotlight on the segment of breast cancer that doesn't get the focus it deserves: those diagnosed young(er) with Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). Every essay and every photo spread in this issue represents those living with a Stage IV diagnosis. This year's theme for the issue is Lessons Learned. We are focusing on what you have learned about living in the glare of MBC. What does living with cancer mean to you and how does it affect how you live your life? Lessons come in all sizes from monumental to subtle but all represent transformations, and that's what we want to showcase in this issue.
