Laurie Pomeranz (she/her)

Psychotherapist. Diagnosed in 2010 at 42, Stage IIB, IDC and ILC, ER+, PR+. Diagnosed in 2022 at 54, Stage IV. Current Lines of Treatment: Ibrance, Faslodex.

Laurie lives in San Francisco. She is a psychotherapist in private practice, working with teens, young adults, and adults. She is an avid traveller and scuba diver, who loves to paint, write, sing, and dance. She and her husband have been married for 27 years and have a 23-year-old son. The three of them adore exploring the world together—above and below water.

Erin Guendelsberger (she/her)

Writer, Mother, Wife, Communications Director. Diagnosed in 2021 at 42. IDC, Stage III. ER+, PR+. Current Lines of Treatment: Letrozole (in the control group for a clinical trial for a new medication).

Throughout her treatments, Erin was sustained by her work writing children’s books. She still writes for children but also finds healing through writing poems and essays about her cancer journey.
