Letting Go + Calling In: An Art & Writing Workshop for 2026 (SELF STUDY VIDEO)

$59.00

New year vision boarding with a twist!

As one year closes and another begins, April Stearns and art therapist Stephanie McLeod-Estevez will lead you in a 2.5-hour guided workshop that blends expressive writing with intuitive art-making.

NOTE: This is a self-study video recording of a live workshop that was held on December 31st. At purchase, you’ll recieve the slides from the workshop, which includes a link to the video (slide 2). The live workshop included small and large group sharing; this recording does not include these portions for participant privacy.

Letting Go + Calling In is an invitation to release what no longer serves you and to intentionally welcome what you most desire in the year ahead. Through reflective prompts, creative exploration, and gentle community connection, you’ll uncover your guiding word or theme for 2026 and bring it to life through art. No writing or art experience required—just curiosity, presence, and a willingness to begin again.

What to Expect:

This recorded workshop is a gentle creative ritual to help you cross the threshold into a new year with clarity and self-compassion. We use expressive writing to explore what you’re ready to release from 2025 and what you hope to call in for 2026. Then we move into an intuitive art practice: collage, drawing, or digital visioning, to give visual form to your guiding word or theme for the year ahead.

Who Would Benefit From This Workshop:
This hands-on workshop is for anyone craving a creative, meaningful way to close the year and begin again—whether you’re living after a breast cancer diagnosis or simply moving through a season of change. It’s designed for those who identify as women as well as anyone drawn to the reflective, feminine energy of this space. No experience with writing or art is needed—just a willingness to explore what’s ready to be released and what wants to be invited in.

Those who joined us for last year’s workshop will find familiar grounding balanced with new layers of reflection—this workshop is designed as both a continuation and a renewal of your creative journey.

Materials Needed:

  • Sketchbook and basic art supplies (paper, paints, markers, etc.), collage materials, etc. Canva’s free vision board templates also work for creating a digital vision board.

  • Whatever writing tool you prefer for long form writing: like journal, laptop, etc. for reflections and notes.

Cost: $59

IMPORTANT: This digital product is available for download for 24 hours following purchase. If you miss the window, please email April at editor at wildfirecommunity dot org.
